Lindos was one of three old towns of Rhodes and is the only one which has survived in use. It is much older than Rhodes Town itself. However Rhodes town is worth a visit to see it fortifications built by the Knights of St John and the old town. There are regular buses from Lindos main square where there is also a Taxi Rank. Alternatively you can hire a car which you collect from the St Paul’s bay side of Lindos.
There are lots of places to visit on Rhodes but one which is not on many advice sites is Mojito Beach. If you fancy an afternoon sipping Mojitos in bohemian beach bar and eating from a barbecue then this is definitely worth a visit. It's very Greek so you might have to brush up from your phrase book !
